Our Safeguarding commitment
Safeguarding is at the heart of everything we do at Therapy Hive.
We are committed to creating a culture where the safety, dignity, and wellbeing of every child, young person, and adult are protected and promoted.
Our approach is guided by national legislation, best practice, and the following core principles:
- Empowerment – We support individuals to make their own choices and have a voice in decisions that affect them.
- Prevention – We act early and take steps to reduce risks before harm occurs.
- Protection – We take swift and appropriate action to keep people safe from abuse, neglect, or exploitation.
- Partnership – We work collaboratively with families, schools, local authorities, and safeguarding partners to ensure joined-up support.
- Proportionality – We respond to concerns in a fair, balanced, and proportionate way.
- Accountability – We are open, transparent, and responsible in how we manage safeguarding concerns.
Everyone connected to Therapy Hive — including directors, therapists, students, and volunteers — shares responsibility for upholding these values and maintaining the highest standards of safeguarding practice.
